There are many low-income families and homeless people suffering from hunger in Washington DC area. Community organizations, volunteers, local churches have been serving the poor of Washington DC, though a lot of help is still needed. How can DC residents participate and make our community healthier and happier?
Solution
GIVE+TAKE is gleaning network that links restaurant, deli shop, or donors who have foods that are edible but not marketable with those who distribute food to the needy through the non-profit community organizations or as an individual. Using this mobile app, any one can easily participate in and help those in need.
